She holds him just as close, arms wrapped around him, unwilling to separate by even a few inches now that they need not. "I trust so," she says, laughing a little. She raises a hand to his face, wondering at the unutterable joy she sees there, and that it is she who caused him to light up so. "Should I pinch you, to be certain?"

"Perhaps you should!" He laughs, giddy and excited, and tips his head to kiss her.

"Although this is more enjoyable."

hooray, we both rock, good conclusion.

She lifts her hands to his face, returning the kiss in earnest, leaning towards him. "It is," she murmurs against his mouth. "Though kissing you proves nothing, given how often I have dreamed of it. How shall we convince ourselves?"

"Well, I suppose there is but one way to prove it." He smiles shyly at her.

"For have we not been awaiting this day for so long now?"

This path he has learnt with her, but never has the final reward been so potentially sweet, as one hand cups her breast through her dress before wandering back to the ties that hold her in.

These explorations they have done before, but not nearly enough to satisfy either of them, nor enough for familiarity to render the actions less thrilling. Her breath catches as he brushes his hand over the curve of her chest, and she leans in closer, deepening their kiss. As he moves to unlace her dress, so she reaches to unlace his tunic. There is a deep impatience within her, for he is right that this is a day--night--long awaited. But the privilege of being able to move slowly, with no fear of discovery...that is worth prolonging.

He kisses her as he unlaces her from her dress, as she undoes the ties on his tunic, pausing only enough to help her lift it over his head and him to help her wriggle out. They can explore slowly, tonight, taking their time and not rushing.

She laughs a little as they disrobe each other, careful with the heavy, embroidered fabrics. "This part was easier with simpler clothing," she murmurs, fumbling with a complicated knot. "Though your garb suited you very well."

"Much less layers too."

He grumbles with a laugh, wriggling out of his shirt and helping her with her layers.

"At least the fiddling means this must be real, as my dreams never are this complicated!"

"And you still have not had enough practice removing my clothes, I see." Eowyn's smirk is audible in her voice. Now that he is shirtless, her hands are inclined to be distracted and wander along his back and shoulders, heavily muscled--an archer's strength is concentrated there, and she has found a particular love for Faramir's back. She pauses and leans forward to kiss him on his collarbone.

The heaviest layer of her own wedding dress is already removed, and what remains is a long linen shift and a shorter silken one. "I will have to ensure that you have many, many opportunities to learn this skill. At least once a day." Once a night, more likely, she realizes with another thrill of awareness.

"They are not usually quite so complicated!"

He grumbles more at her smirk, and arches against her hands with a soft groan.

"Although you are even more distracting than before."

The groan and the way he reacts only encourage her, and she continues, a series of light kisses along towards his shoulder. "I intend to be," she murmurs. "And surely this is the perfect occasion for such distractions."

He shivers under her lips.

"But I wish to please you also, this night."

"I do not doubt you will." She pulls back enough to smile up at him, her face still radiant with anticipation and delight. "We have all night, after all. As much time as we need, to ensure we are both well-pleased."

And what a wonder that still is, to be granted time, instead of stealing it like thieves.

Her pulling back is accompanied by a satisfied crow, as Faramir finally manages the last of her laces, and he smiles at her, his kisses gentling.

"So we do. How marvellous and strange, to have... well, not quite all the time in the world, but the next best thing."

"It seems all the time in the world to me, now." She returns his kisses, a moment of sweetness. She is s little impatient for more, after so much waiting for this night, but such kisses are worth appreciating. "How would you use it, my husband?"

It is a dare more than a question, judging by her smirk and the light of mischief in her eyes.

He chuckles breathlessly at the look in her eyes.

"Oh! But when you look at me that way, all I can answer is that I would have you tonight, my White Lady, if you would have me, and we should together learn the sweetest depths of each other."

She laughs, wrapping her arms around his waist. "I would have nothing else, for this night and all nights hereafter."

This time her kiss is more heated, and she pulls him as close as she may as she explores his mouth with her tongue.

He answers her fire with his own, for Faramir, in his own way, is just as passionate, if slower to rouse.

"Together at last, oh Eowyn! No, this is no dream, for this sweetness is real."

He kisses her and helps her wriggle out of the last of her clothing as she helps him with his, hands brushing along her sides and up to cup her breasts.

Éowyn loves Faramir's passion, for all that he keeps it more restrained than she does hers--a thing she hopes may now change, with them finally wed...

At any rate she sheds her remaining shift most willingly, and undoes the laces on his trousers and tugs them down over his hips with all the enthusiasm and none of the caution she showed the first time she did so. It is many months now since they could explore each other at all, for since his arrival for their wedding they have had little time and less privacy; a few stolen kisses are all they have managed.

She sighs with some satisfaction as he reaches for her breasts, splaying her own hands on his chest in turn. "We even have a mattress, this time," she murmurs. "It would be a shame not to use it."

"A very comfortable mattress, at least, it looks like it."

He agrees, dipping his head to trace the pulse point in her neck with teeth and tongue.

"And your brother might be insulted, if we spurn his hospitality by ignoring it!"

"It should be, for I made sure to choose the best in Edoras," she says, though the near-prim tone is somewhat marred by a gasp as he explores the sensitive skin of her neck. "And on this of all nights, we will not discuss what my brother thinks of what we do!"

He giggles at that, laughter a bubble in his chest that cannot be contained, the glee of what they have tonight and forever.

"Oh, my apologies, for I am certain that you picked the very most comfortable mattress of all time!"

It is such an unguarded, delighted sound that it makes her laugh also. Faramir is so contained in so many ways that any such exclamation catches her by surprise, and she cherishes them all.

She steps back, taking hold of his hands and pulling him towards the bed. "You may judge for yourself." Her smile still has that edge of mischief. "If you are not too busy thinking of other things."

"I am sure you will keep me very distracted, but I will do my best!"

He laughs again, giddy with delight as he lets her tug him to the bed, kissing her and pulling her down with him as they reach it.

"But I think I will be very, very distracted." He says softly, looking at her with joyful eyes.

She has seen him look at her with joy and tenderness many times, but his expression now is tenfold what it has ever been. She lies next to him on the bed, their legs tangled together, stroking each others' sides and arms and faces as she kisses him and he kisses her until they lose count, and Éowyn could not care less about the mattress.

After many blissful moments of this she suddenly laughs, pulling back a little. "Did you perhaps bring a copy of that book?"
