His chuckle is soft, and he reaches up to card fondly through golden hair, marvelling at the way the sun glances through it.

"It seems your kinsmen have let us sleep in." He murmurs, to her. "But I think we both could do with a little sustenance, this morning. Also, my love, I rather need to use the facilities"

She takes in the tone of the words more than their meaning, and sighs, leaning into the gentle touch of his hand for a minute before rolling off him so he may rise.

For herself, she lies on her back for a minute, a beam of sunlight crossing her face and warming her skin. She is hungry, little though waking appeals; the other she took care of earlier, for herself. As Faramir moves she gradually stretches, sighs, opens her eyes, and sits up in bed, holding a blanket to her chest.

Faramir goes about his business swiftly - the sun is up, but the air still a little chill, and turns back to her, only to stop, staring in wonder at the sight of her, rumpled and beautiful.

"How lovely you are." He smiles as he comes back over to kiss her.

She smiles radiantly, letting the blanket fall as she wraps her arms around him, pulling him to sit next to her on their bed. "That is another fine way to wake of a morning," she says, joy in her voice. She leans back to take in the sight of him, his hair endearingly askew, his expression soft and loving. "With sweet words and sweeter kisses."

He is only too pleased to give her more of those kisses, drawing her into his arms as he sits next to her.

"Even so! I can scarce understand why any should keep to separate bedchambers, when this is the reward for my waking!"

There is no urgency to the press of mouth on mouth this time, only delight, unhurried and luxurious. In some ways that is even more precious than the needy heat of the previous night; to know they are both satisfied for now, that more awaits, that this will not end. It is a thought to warm her through to the bone, despite the chill edge in the early morning air. "I do not intend to keep such a custom," she says, laughter in her voice. "So be warned. I would rather sleep less but remain by your side, particularly with this to look forward to every morning."

"Good! For I think I would miss thee dearly should you chose to go from my side, even for a little while." He laughs in return, the slow, gentle companionship just as delightful as the heat of the night before.

Someone outside bangs on the door, hallooing them and he snorts, amused, dropping his head to rest on her shoulder.

"Though not, I think, the wake up call."

She does not have a chance to answer this, or to exchange yet another kiss, as they are interrupted by a knock and a rambunctious call to wake. Eowyn glares at the door, but there is little heat in it, for truthfully she is still too languid and pleased to muster up much annoyance, however quick her temper is at other times. "No," she agrees. She caresses his face and shoulder, then sighs and rises, going to the closet to look for clothing fit for the day. "At least in Ithilien we may expect a more genteel summons, I hope. Though it adds another layer of appeal to the idea of escaping with you for some few days now."

No one to rouse them from bed at all, or to call them to any duty. Though would both become bored and fretful without work to do before long, but a few days respite...that is most appealing, just now.

He follows her up, pulling on pants and a shirt before he grins wryly at her.

"True. We could do as we did when we were courting, perhaps - ride out for a few days! But I very definitely plan to institute a do not disturb policy in Ithilien!"

Her grin back is full of satisfaction, and a hint of wickedness. "I have already been making such a plan, and intend to spend the morning seeing it arranged, that we may ride out this afternoon and not return for some two or three days. I am not minded to wait, nor to waste time I could spend with you!" She pauses after pulling on a shift to kiss him, then reaches for her dress. "If the idea is to your liking?"

They have both been freed from their duties, after all. And uninterrupted time will be more than worth the trade of needing to tend to themselves, without servants or guards.

He laughs, reaching over to reel her in close in answer and press butterfly kisses over her.

"It is very much to my liking! Tis no hardship at all to consider a few days all alone!"

The light fluttering of kisses makes her laugh helplessly, for they tickle as much as please, playful, teasing touches. "Nay, but let me go, my husband, or else we will not be able to leave at all!" Her eyes gleam. "Although the temptation to pull you back into bed is not very great..."

He chuckles at her, eyes crinkling with pleasure and warm with his love.

"Ah, but you would rather push me down instead?" He teases.

The light in her eyes turns mischievious, and she pushes him backwards until she has him pinned against the closet. "I would," she purrs, before leaning against him and kissing him again, with more heat, one hand splayed on his chest and the other pushing his shoulder against the wooden door.

"Ah, so already I learn to anticipate you!"

He laughs and pulls her close, kissing her until the pounding on the door resumes.

"Ai!"

Eowyn chuckles into his mouth, enjoying this new position--she has never pinned him to a wall before, and there is much potential in it--then breaks away with a low curse as they are again interrupted. After a few more muttered (and extremely impolite) oaths in Rohirric, she looks up at him, smiling a little ruefully. "How quickly do you think you can pack? For I am minded to leave as soon as we may."

"I think we can be gone this evening, for we will have to put in something of an appearance, if only to ask your brother and my men not to come looking!" He says regretfully, clearly wishing as badly as her to be gone right that moment.

She kisses him briefly, squeezing his hands before releasing them, reaching around her back to tie the laces of her dress. "This afternoon. At the absolute latest." Her voice is firm and determined.

He reaches for his own overtunic.

"If you can convince your brother." He agrees. He sincerely doubts Aragorn will be hard to convince, considering he spent the first two weeks of their wedding having to track down his king and queen from wherever they'd sequestered themselves at random intervals.

"I do not intend to make it a subject for debate," Eowyn says firmly, finding a brush for her hair. She left it loose all through the night, and now it is impressively tangled in places. Though Faramir had certainly enjoyed it..."Though I do not think he will argue much. More likely he has anticipated me, for he is not inclined to watch us make doe-eyes at each other across the Great Hall, as he put it."

She does not sound even remotely repentant. Quite the opposite. And she is far too satisfied to be annoyed at her brother's teasing.

"Put that way, no doubt he will be eager to see us off!"

Faramir agrees, and comes over to her as he's done with his buttons.

"Here, shall I help with your hair?"

"No doubt," she agrees, laughing.

At his offer she turns her head and smiles. "Not now, I think, for I will be able to manage it quickly enough, and I think we would find ourselves distracted once more. But later..." Her smile turns faintly suggestive, for she well knows how he loves her hair. "Later, I hope you will."

His eyebrow goes up at the suggestion in her smile, and he answers it with his own.

"Well! then I will most definitely do so. I will have to pack the good hairbrush." he teases.

She laughs, rapidly brushing out the tangles in her hair and twisting it into a crown on her head, something that will look more formal than it is once it is pinned properly. Yesterday was for pagentry; today she dresses to show she means business.

It does not take long, though Faramir still finishes first. "Shall we face them?" she says, smiling and offering her arm to him to take.

He twinkles back at her and accepts her arm with solemn grace.

"Indeed! Before they get impatient and break down the door!"
