He is deeply asleep, and grumbles incoherently as she stirs, pulling her closer into his arms, not yet willing to face the day.

Her eyes are not yet open, and she is more than willing to be thus held. If she could sleep again, she would--but Eowyn finds she is awake whether she wills or no.

Still, this is no bad way to wake, with a husband--thus husband--pressed warm along her back, his arm firm around her waist even in his sleep, his breath teasing at her neck and shoulder. Eowyn shivers, enjoying the feel of it, enjoying all of this moment and the memory of the previous day, the previous night. All their waiting and working led to this, and it has proved is more than worth all the effort and impatience.

But her arm has pins and needles from being slept on, and she is uncomfortable in other ways, so eventually, reluctantly, she disengages herself, shivering as she rises to tend her body's needs as quickly as she may before returning to the bed.

He lets her go reluctantly, even in sleep, and when she returns is blinking at her in the mild confused befuddlement of just awakening.

"Eowyn?" He murmurs. "Why are you over there?"

Even that quick sojourn has left her cold, and she is quick to settle herself against him once more under the blankets. It is early spring, and the nights are yet chilled. "Naught of import," she answers, shivering. Faramir quickly learns one of the disadvantages of sharing a bed: cold feet.

He yelps at her cold feet, dragging her close and burying his nose in her hair.

"You're cold." He grumbles sleepily.

He bundles her in close despite this complaint, which she finds touching, and his body heat quickly warms her. She buries her face against his chest, under the blankets, relieved by the warmth she finds there. The scent of him fills her nostrils, and that too is comforting, and she relaxes once more into contentment as she wraps an arm around his waist, stroking lightly at his back.

He snuggles her close.

"Is all well?" He yawns. "What time is it?"

"All is most well, my husband." She tilts her head up and kisses him lingeringly. "And I do not know. Not yet dawn, I think."

He kisses her back, slow and sleepy but waking up as he does.

"Hm. Time enow before we are rousted out of our beds then, I assume."

She sighs a little, content and relaxing once more now that she is warm. "Time enow for what?"

He grins at her and runs a teasing, ticklish hand up her side.

"Perhaps for a morning snuggle?"

She laughs, a youthful, delighted sound. They are both of them still undressed, having fallen into sleep directly after their play last night, and his fingers trail over sensitive skin. She squirms despite herself. "A snuggle, you say? My people would use more colorful terms, I think."

He kisses her with a laugh.

"Well we could just snuggle, if you prefer~"

"I did not say so," she chides him. "Rather...the opposite..." The sentence is interrupted by teasing kisses.

"Ah, that is well." He grins at her, in between kisses, his hands becoming more adventurous as they sweep across her body, exploring.

His grin is wonderful to her, and she caresses his face as she kisses him again, her tongue pressing its way into his mouth. She hooks one of her legs over his to pull him over. This feeling of skin against skin is still new and intoxicating, every bit as much as she imagined it would be during the past year of waiting.

He willingly deepens the kiss, pulling her closer, his desire for her evident.

"Mm, I could definitely get used to waking up like this." He says and his voice has become a little breathless from anticipation.

She laughs against his mouth. Her hands too explore, wandering over heated skin, the planes and muscles and lines of bone that make up Faramir. "I also," she murmurs. The leg she's wrapped over him slides against his thigh, tilting their hips together, and she hums her her satisfaction at the press of his interest.

His skin jumps under her hands and he presses a groan to her kiss as she does so.

"Oh good." He murmurs, hips shifting involuntarily against her.

She gasps a little at the increased contact, and her nails bite a little at his back as her fingers spasm.

"Should we hurry, or take it slowly?" He kisses down her neck, arching against her hands.

Those gentle touches to her neck make her toes curl. She always thought that was but a metaphor. It is almost painful in its sweetness, and already she aches with wanting. "Oh...oh, I hardly know," she manages, breathless, skimming her nails down his back. "What would you?"

Down her neck and slowly down her breasts.

"As much as I would enjoy taking our time, I don't really feel like waiting." He admits.

She should do more, she thinks dimly as he turns her onto her back, moving his way down, should do something more to please him in return, but oh, his mouth, his hands...warmth spreads through her, and she gasps at the sweetness of it as his lips brush along skin afire with anticipation. "Perhaps...we might have time for both...?" she manages, tangling her fingers in his hair as he hovers above her chest.

"That," he murmurs between kisses. "Will depend entirely on if anyone decides to come and disturb us!"
