He shivers at her touch, eyes darkening.

"Ah! And if I... promise to make sure it was worth your time?"

His gasp makes goosebumps rise on her skin, and she grinds herself against him shamelessly. "Would not impatience...ah...be as rewarding?"

He groans, train of thought derailed as he arches against her.

"Ah... well... when put like that..."

It was she who said earlier--twice--that there was no need to hurry, but now...oh, she does not want to wait, she will not. They are pressed so close, rubbing against one another, that it only takes a twist of her hips to position herself so that the tip of him is at her entrance. "Faramir--" Her voice is urgent with need, all her pale skin flushed, and she presses again on his backside, to encourage him.

He groans as she shifts.

"Eowyn, oh Eowyn."

It's barely any work at all to thrust within her, and his head falls back with a breathless cry.

"Oh, beloved!"

"Faramir, Faramir..." She gasps as he pushes in, filling her the way she needs. Her fingers clutch at his back, as though she can somehow pull him closer still if she tries, until there is no division between them at all.

He groans, words escaping him as he cannot help but begin to thrust.

She moves with him, moaning with every thrust and withdrawal. Her hands wander fretfully over his back and sides. She captures his mouth briefly, but the kiss is broken almost at once by her cries as pleasure builds within her.

He breathes her name in broken chants, hands gripping her hips tightly as his movements become irrregular.

"Oh, oh, Eowyn, Oh!"

She tries to pull him back into a rhythm, but it is difficult, distracted as she is by hands and pressure and movement and the desperate sound of her name in his mouth. They slip in and out of sync for a minute. It's still good--dear Valar, it is good, beyond all her imaginings--but it's so much better when they manage to work together. An instinctive process, but one that will still require practice...her moans are high-pitched and brief, and her fingers dig into his back. Close, so close now, but not enough, not yet enough...

It takes a good deal of effort - difficult, when both are so distracted. But he remembers enough that as her fingers dig at him, he manages to fumble to try and find her clit.

"Close." He gasps in her ear. "So close, oh Eowyn..."

"Faramir, Faramir, please..." She chants his name desperately as she moves, trying to reach that point, the place she found earlier. When he reaches between them and strokes her she lets out a loud keen, clenching harder around him. "Bema, please, I'm so close...I need...please...!"

"Eowyn, oh, my love, yes, yes...!"

Fumbling in his passion, but he remembers where....here!

Her keen becomes a cry as he finds the right place, as his fingers work at her even as they thrust against each other. Once found he doesn't lose his place, and the combination is what she needs. She grips at him as her cries increase in pitch, until she screams her pleasure aloud as she trembles around him, under him, eyes clenched shut as bliss overwhelms her.

As she convulses around him Faramir shouts, following her over the edge, hands spasming around her hips enough that he will be very sorry for the bruises, later. But all he knows in the moment is pleasure and triumph, for he did that, to his wife.

She barely notices the bruising grip of his fingers; it becomes part of the moment, adding to the intensity. The force of it leaves her limp afterwards, gasping for breath and covered in sweat, her body aching pleasurably. Her arms remain wrapped around him, pulling him down to rest atop her. As she begins to recover she strokes absently at his back.

He's breathing hard, body limp and lax over hers, and he nuzzles sleepily at her shoulder.

They lie entangled together for some time, skin cooling and the pulses slowing back to a resting pace, before Eowyn finally stirs and kisses his forehead before moving in a way that suggests he should get off of her.

He's half asleep by then, but he shifts when she prompts him, curling close to her side instead.

Eowyn is more than a little asleep herself. She sits up long enough to reach down and find a blanket to cover them both, then willingly fits herself against Faramir, spooning against him and pulling his arm over her waist.

He nuzzles back and presses a sleepy kiss to her neck before he slips to sleep, curling with her until morning.

Eowyn would wish to stay waking a while, enjoying the warmth and her husband's embrace, the delicious aftermath of what they have done this eve. But she too is spent, and it was a long day followed by a long night, and it is not long before she too is asleep.

When she does stir it is much later, and the candles are long since burnt to their nubs, the fireplace down to coals. The air is cold, and she shivers, snuggling deeper into the warm cocoon she shares with Faramir. The new but familiar feel of his skin fitted alongside her begins to wake her more fully, however, from curiosity and amazement, and she stirs again.

He is deeply asleep, and grumbles incoherently as she stirs, pulling her closer into his arms, not yet willing to face the day.

Her eyes are not yet open, and she is more than willing to be thus held. If she could sleep again, she would--but Eowyn finds she is awake whether she wills or no.

Still, this is no bad way to wake, with a husband--thus husband--pressed warm along her back, his arm firm around her waist even in his sleep, his breath teasing at her neck and shoulder. Eowyn shivers, enjoying the feel of it, enjoying all of this moment and the memory of the previous day, the previous night. All their waiting and working led to this, and it has proved is more than worth all the effort and impatience.

But her arm has pins and needles from being slept on, and she is uncomfortable in other ways, so eventually, reluctantly, she disengages herself, shivering as she rises to tend her body's needs as quickly as she may before returning to the bed.

He lets her go reluctantly, even in sleep, and when she returns is blinking at her in the mild confused befuddlement of just awakening.

"Eowyn?" He murmurs. "Why are you over there?"
