He tangles their fingers together and tugs lightly, wanting her close.

"I love you no matter what you look like." He shakes his head. "Whatever you find comfortable."

And then shyly, testing the word that he so rarely dared to speak aloud.

"Beloved."

Her smile grows, full and unshadowed, and when he pulls at her arm she willingly steps into his embrace. "Caranthir," she says, reaching up to touch his face. It's a long way to reach. He's always been so much taller than she. "Husband. I missed thee."

He wraps his arms around her and sighs, relaxing into the feel of her in his arms, something he's missed for so very, very long.

"I missed you too. My Haleth. My fiery chieftain!"

He leans into her embrace, bending to kiss her. It feels almost unreal, to have this again, when he'd thought to have lost her forever.
