He obliges by happily deepining the kiss, but only for a brief moment before pulling back to smile at her.

"Why, you know her better than any, my love, for was it not you?"

And then he kisses her again. Because really, she's lying there looking eminently kissable.

She laughs, caressing his cheek, for of course she knew the answer. "If it was I, then I seem to recall some of our lessons were in the field. Or on it."

Around the time of their wedding she had made good on an old promise, and shown him a flowered meadow by a stream. They had both been more than a little disheveled upon their return to Edoras, and Legolas, visiting for the wedding, had delicately plucked a strand of grass from Faramir's hair and handed it to him with a smile.

"Tis true, we used a ... variety of different locations."

He grins at her, for they had enjoyed greatly exploring their lands in their time.

She grins back, just as happy in the memory--then shifts her weight, using it to roll them over so he's on his back, and she lies partly atop him. A manuever she had also used that day. "A Ranger, and yet so easily overcome!" She bends her head and kisses him again. "Perhaps you need a few more lessons. Just as a reminder."

He smiles up at her and kisses back, reaching to wind his arms around her and tug her close.

"I am, as always, entirely at my lady's disposal, and I trust she will find me an eager student!"

"One of the first, which you seem to have forgotten--" She kisses her way from his mouth to his cheek, and then to his ear, where she mimics his own attentions to her. "--is to never forget your opponent may turn the tables on you."

He shivers under her attentions with a gasp.

"A most grievous oversight." He agrees breathlessly, hands stroking along her sides. "I will endeavour to learn better."

It is an advantage of the change in positions, that his hands are now more free to roam. She chuckles, her breath warm in his ear, and tugs on the lobe with her teeth, which she then grazes back down his neck. "See that you do," she says, with mock-severity. "Or else we shall have to repeat all your previous lessons, to make sure you have forgotten no others."

It is very definitely an advantage, and one he takes full use of, even as he arches against her with a gasp.

"Mm, is that a threat, or a promise?"

"Can it not be both?" She moves to the other side of his face, bites again at his neck, flicks her tongue lightly into his ear, mixing hardness and softness, sharp and soothing touches of her mouth. Her free hand wanders down his shoulder and forearm, then his torso. "Or what you will." She is not paying much attention to what she says not, in truth, much more interested in the way his breath hitches when she touches him thus or nibbles on his skin just so.

Faramir gasps, bites back a moan.

"I cannot.. ah! ... say I oppose the idea..."

His exploring hands brush, just the edge of nails, exploring along her sides and teasing her breasts.

Oh, she loves that sound, loves it when his lauded, almost legendary self-control slips. She repeats the gesture that earned the noise, hoping to hear it again. Preferably louder. Though her own breath catches as he teases at her curves, his fingers leaving trails of heat in their wake. "Diplomat," she murmurs, moving back down his neck, shifting her body down his so that she can trace his collarbone with her mouth. "And yet, I could have sworn you were attempting to persuade me, not the other way around..."

She gets another gasping moan for that, his neck bared to her easily, artlessly.

"I became... distraced."

He retaliates by searching out her breasts, to tease at her nipples.

"Tch." She nuzzles at the hollow of his throat, her tongue darting out to taste the skin there. "Then you are certainly...in need of lessons." Her sentence is interrupted halfway through as clever, calloused fingers tease her. "Overturned and distracted...but at least you still remember to take advantage of your opponent's--oh--weaknesses..."

He gasps as she does, his voice breaking briefly.

"I remain... ah, as always, your most loyal pupil."

Enjoying the sounds she makes in turn he continues to tease at her nipples, brushing and tweaking them.

"And that much I can remember always to do."

He is too clever with his fingers, and she reaches for his hands, pulls them away and pins them to the mattress, pushing herself up so she can grin down at him. "And what does my most loyal pupil do when his opponent has him trapped?"

He laughs throatily as she captures his hands, tugging on them teasingly but not truly trying to pull free.

"That depends, I suppose, on whether it will serve me better to allow my captor to have their wicked way with me, or to try and win free."

"Wicked?" She tries to pretend to be insulted, but chuckles despite herself, bends down and nuzzles his nose with hers, kisses his mouth. "And what do you think will serve you best in this instance?"

"Most wicked." He grins up at her, nipping into the kiss.

"Hm. Well, considering my position, I do believe I might yield to the superior force!"

She tugs his lower lip between his teeth playfully, then presses his wrists harder into the mattress as she shifts her weight, moving to straddle him properly. He is the stronger of the two of them, but she has more leverage, and would be harder to dislodge from this position. Eowyn has much experience of knowing how to redress an imbalance of physical strength. Though when she was younger and first learning to fight, it didn't occur to her that such instincts would have other practical uses.

Now, however, she raises herself up a little so that she might view her captive husband, her expression decidedly smug--which might be anticipation as much as being satisfied with her tactics. "You yield so easily? Fie, what of the fabled courage of the men of Gondor?"

The position gives her all the leverage, but although he might leverage his strength against her, he only wriggles in a token fashion, rolling his hips under hers.

"Courage must loose to sense, at times, and sense tells me where my superior sits!"

That bit of wit makes her laugh outright, considering where she is sitting and the effect that roll of his hips has; she can feel the hard length of him under her, and moves suggestively against it as she leans forward to kiss him again, her hands still pinning his. "So I am free to do as I will with you, my captive?"

He shudders a little as she moves, and she can feel that he is hard beneath her, kissing back deeply.

"Most assuredly!"

She makes a small, pleased noise into his mouth as they move against each other, then sits back up. Her shift is rucked up over her knees; she releases his hands long enough to pull it over her head entirely, tossing it aside and leaving her clad in nothing but her own hair, Which, admittedly, covers a good deal.

That accomplished she looks back down at him, smirking a little as she takes in his reaction. "I must take thought, then, on how merciful I should be."

He is looking back at her, very clearly enjoying the sight of her, his hands now released tracing circles along her hips.

"I pray my captor to be merciful!"
