He smiles a little, attempting innocence with little success, moving on to kissing her wrists.

"I suppose so, but it should make little difference now, no?"

"You are incorrigible." She laughs, turning her hand in his gentle grip so that he can easily find the sensitive skin on the inside of her wrist, where the press of his mouth sends a shiver through her. "And I would have you no other way."

"My lady gives me good reason to be."

He smiles at her, kissing gently up her arm.

"I did say I always appreciate your efforts," she says, remembering their conversation yesterday. Much as she would like to kiss him, she can't bring herself to stop his progress, and contents herself with combing fingers through his hair as he brushes his lips up her arm. "So I suppose it is true, I have only myself to blame for encouraging you."

He makes his slow way up her arm, and to her neck.

"I am glad! For I find myself forever encouraged to new heights to please my lady."

"And new depths?" she says archly, though the effect is somewhat lessened by how her voice catches as his mouth finds her neck, a place guaranteed to earn a reaction. She tilts her head back to give him more space, closing her eyes.

He chuckles and grazes her pulse point with the barest edge of teeth.

"Is that what my lady is interested in this morning?"

A whimper escapes through clenched teeth. "That...depends."

He chuckles, moving to kiss her jaw, and then her cheek, and whisper lowly in her ear.

"On... what exactly?"

"On how persuasive you are."

It comes out a little breathless, and she shivers at the feel of his warm breath on her ear.

"I see." He murmurs and tugs carefully on her earlobe with his teeth.

"And I expect my lady will... enlighten me with how well my progress is going?"

"You are an observant man." Another quick, high-pitched catch of breath. She loves when he uses his teeth. "Surely you will be able to guess."

He smiles and slowly nibbles his way down her neck.

"Will I not get...some encouragement?"

She whimpers again, and her toes curl, and Bema it would be embarassing if she did not love it so. "Do you need encouragement?"

"Perhaps just ... a little direction is occasionally helpful."

He laughs as he nips again, still not moving his hands at all beyond holding her gently.

Her hands clutch at his shoulders and back, and one of her legs wraps around his. "And yet you are doing very well without it."

His laugh rumbles through them both, pressed as close as they are, and he presses kisses along her collarbone.

"You see? That is already very helpful advice!"

"I think it was commentary rather than advice." She tilts her head so that he can easily move to the other side of her neck, which aches for similar attention. "But I do advise you not to stop, since you ask."

"It is very useful commentary!" He obligingly shifts to her other side and nibbles.

Her breathing is coming faster now, and her body lifts under his. One hand wanders along his back aimlessly. "Merely to suggest you continue?"

"Indeed! If you say 'stop' after all, I am clearly doing something wrong!"

His voice is merry, smug as only a man whose wife is very happy with him can be, kissing and nibbling his way up her neck.

She chuckles, conceding the point. "In that case, I very strongly suggest that you follow your instincts in this." He finds a sensitive point, and the fingers on his back clutch at him a little harder. "And leave nothing neglected."

"I will endeavour to cover all ground most thoroughly."

He assures her, and continues on his slow, leisurely route up her neck, along her jaw, to nibble at her ear. As her fingers clench, he finally, finally starts to move his hands, slow sweeping brushes along her side.

"So you are a Ranger still. Oh..." Her eyelids flutter shut, and it takes effort to control her impatience, for part of her wishes only to turn her head and capture his mouth with hers, but the rest wishes to see what he will do if left to follow his own inclinations.

The movement and press of his hands draws more such sounds from her, soft exclamations of pleased delight. "Faramir." She leans forward and kisses his shoulder, his neck, what she can reach.

"I endeavor to be." He agrees, his wandering hands slowly mapping their way across her body, worshiping her curves and tracing the lines of her muscles as he kisses and nibbles on her neck.
