Leave a starter, or leave a prompt and I'll start.
Brilliant ideas and clueless flailing all welcome.
AUs and cross-canon, drama and comedy and shipping.
Just throw stuff at me. It's all good.

"That is well, for I would hate for us to be bored of each other!"
He is happy, here with her in his arms beneath the blue, blue sky. But they cannot stay, and so reluctantly, he sits up, untangling himself from her arms.

She gets to her feet, still bare. "I think I will wash in the stream a little, before dressing once more." She smiles down at him, holding out a hand. "Join me?"
no subject
"We are both, as you said, rather sticky."

Éowyn reaches up and caresses his face. "I love thee." Her hair ripples in the breeze and her face is bright with joy.
no subject
"And I love thee, my joy and my heart."

Even by clothing, and that makes her laugh a little, which breaks the kiss. She keeps his hand in hers as she walks down to the stream, flinching a little at the chill. "Be prepared," she warns, still smiling. "The waters of the Snowbourn live up to their name!"
This is not the proper river but a smaller offshoot; even so, it is cold.
no subject
He shouts, a breathless laugh as he steps in after her.
"Ai! Truly well named."

Faramir ducks his head under and comes up with a splash in her direction.
"Only so long as the water is warm!" He laughs, and feeling himself clean enough, makes for dry land.

More than a little suggestion to that promise, and in her smile as she walks out of the stream with him.

"I had almost forgotten! But no, I do not believe I did." He smiles at her. "You were, indeed, most convincing!"

"A race then?"
timeskip time?
yes!
He grins at her and then touches his heel to his mare's side, shifting his weight in the saddle to encourage her to pick up her heels and run, leaving Eowyn behind for that brief second with a laugh.

They race for some while, their horses chasing each other like silly foals, before Éowyn deems it prudent to slow their pace once more. "I pity our guards," she says. "First we dally by the river, then we tear across the plains!"
She does not sound so very sorry for them, in truth. Surely they knew what they were in for, with this duty.
no subject
"Well, they are all Rohirrim themselves, no?" He points out, merry and wind tousled and clearly admiring the color the chase has brought to her cheeks also.
"I'm sure they can keep up."
no subject
Which is to say, she has no intention of changing simply because she will be Lady of Ithilien. If she and Faramir choose to race across the plains of Ithilien and frolic by a stream there, their guards will simply have to learn to cope.

He loves him, he does, but he is a fusspot.
"But I am sure they will adjust to us in time."
no subject
Still, at least now they are guarded at a distance, and not up close. It is much to be preferred.
"I should pity them a little, I suppose. Forced to make camp on the plains and act the scouts, while we frolic in luxury." Her eyes twinkle at him. "But the truth is I think I will be far too preoccupied to pay them much thought."
no subject
He laughs at that.
"Well, best they learn how it will be, as you say! And I look forwards to my... upcoming distraction."
no subject
Assuming Beregond would go even in that case, which she doubts. His loyalty to Faramir is absolute. And in truth she is most glad of it.
They travel along talking of commonplaces and plans, intermixed with flirtatious glances and sly innuendoes, alternating their pace now and then as they progress. It is only a few hours more before Eowyn catches sight of their goal, and points. "There--do you see? That is the house, with the woods behind it."
The White Mountains rise high above the horizon, but it can be seen before them--a fine, sizable lodge. As they grow closer it is revealed to be two stories tall, with a stable attached.
no subject
It is a pleasant ride, now they are going slowly enough to talk, and Faramir enjoys being able to gaze at her without any to say him nay. He looks up as she points and makes a noise of appreciation.
"I see it. Ah, but see how the mountains blaze in the setting sun! We have made it just in time."
Have I remembered F's horse's name right?
You have! I am boring and name everyone's horses some variant of Grey tbh because I like the colorXD
Honestly that makes sense! Esp for horses
Right? I like grey horses, so... XD
me too =) And it seems a Faramir thing, to name his horses the same thing but in many languages
